About

Aysha Choudhury

My work explores the intersection of healing, mental health, and the complex relationships we cultivate with ourselves, nature, and reality. Through my art, I aim to reflect the nuanced experience of living with these issues, articulating the silent struggles and triumphs that shape our perceptions.

Drawing from traditional mixed media, I harness the expressive qualities of watercolours, gouache, and acrylic paints to create pieces that resonate on both an emotional and psychological level. Each brushstroke serves as a testament to my journey, inviting viewers to engage with their own paths of healing and self-discovery.

With a curious spirit and strong imagination, I am instinctively drawn to the colours, patterns, and rhythms found in nature. My creative practice not only captures the viewer's attention but is also rich with layered narratives.

I believe art can be a powerful medium for introspection and connection, facilitating conversations about mental health and well-being. By bridging the gap between personal narratives and universal truths, Aspiring and acknowledging shared experiences while celebrating individuality and authenticity. My work is a journey of understanding of ourselves, one another, and the intricate tapestry of life that surrounds us.
